i have referred many people to Dr Chabra...problem is how long it takes to get an appointment with him. My sister called in April and there were no appts available until late July for a new patient appt. She chose to see another provider.

Dr Chabra is an incredible caring insightful, and superior specialist who has a wealth of knowledge and understanding. He has been a life saver and truly LISTENS and is tenacious in finding real solutions for my frail health. He has carefully followed up in tracking my cancer recovery and how that effects my current health. I am tremendously grateful to have him as my St Jude's specialist, when all my cancer care is at UCI and my GP is St Joseph's medical group. Dr Chabra has the answers and knowledge needed to assist me, he is worth the drive and effort too.

Physician Bio

Rheumatology is a fascinating subspecialty of internal medicine that focuses on immune-related disorders such as lupus, connective tissue diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriatic arthritis, as well as other conditions such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia.

Over the past decade there have been numerous advances in the field which has had a tremendous positive impact on the quality of life for many patients despite having a chronic illness. My approach to treating these often complex and chronic diseases is to listen to the patient and understand their needs, provide education and use evidence-based medicine to achieve the best possible outcome.

Each patient’s experience and needs are unique just as no two fingerprints can be similar. Therefore, I focus on developing, in partnership with my patient, an individualized treatment plan that meets their goals for optimal health.

As my patients frequently have chronic conditions, I feel privileged to develop lasting relationships with them, and I truly enjoy providing for their care and comfort.
